PORT JERVIS—A steady stream of visitors came to watch seven glass artists demonstrate their craft at the Gillinder Glass Factory in Port Jervis on Oct. 17. The factory has been hosting these demonstrations since 1997, which is as long as it has had the Gillinder Glass Store where many artists sell their work. Guest artist Bill Happel, who has been doing the demonstrations for over a decade, said it was a great place to work. “They have a state-of-the-art facility,” he said. The Factory will be having the demonstrations again on Nov. 14 & 27, and Dec. 12.
