At least five people were killed including a gunman in a Phoenix apartment complex.
Two dogs were also shot to death, KNXV-TV reported.
The shooting took place at 17th Avenue and Camelback Road, AZCentral reported.
Other details are not clear.
Officials said an investigation is underway.
