Philip Vaughl Cox, a rape suspect in the United States, was arrested in the Philippines over the weekend.
The 53-year-old was living with a Filipina partner, police told PNA.
Cox was taken into custody by police officers and Bureau of Immigration agents.
He was living in Barangay Pagdalagan Sur.
U.S. officials have been looking for Cox for over a year.
He will be extradited back to the U.S.
