Peter Capaldi was announced as the new actor to play Doctor Who, it was reported.

Peter Capaldi was announced as the new actor to play Doctor Who, it was reported.
Sky News, which broke the story, said that Capaldi would take over from Matt Smith.
Smith is slated to leave the series in the show’s Christmas special.
