House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has downplayed Democratic Party election losses in the House of Representatives, pointing to her party’s lead over both President Donald Trump and Republicans in the popular vote as evidence of a “great victory.”

Pelosi made the comment at a press conference on Nov. 20.
