PayPal made a $92 quadrillion error recently, erroneously paying Pennsylvania man Chris Reynolds $92,233,720,368,547,800, it was reported.

“I’m a very responsible guy,” he told the Philadelphia Daily News about what he would do with the cash. “I would pay the national debt down first. Then I would buy the Phillies, if I could get a great price.”

He originally thought that he owed the company the amount.

“I’m just feeling like a million bucks,” Reynolds told the Daily News this week. “At first I thought that I owed quadrillions. It was quite a big surprise.”

Reynolds, of Delaware County, said that he uses PayPal to purchase and auction off items on eBay.

He said he got another notice recently. “The sad part is that I got word that they still need me to renew the credit card that’s attached to this account,” he told the paper. “So, even though I have 90 quadrillion dollars, they still don’t trust me.”

According to CNN, he later logged back in and his account showed $0, which was the correct amount.

PayPal admitted that it made a mistake.

“This is obviously an error and we appreciate that Mr. Reynolds understood this was the case,” PayPal said in a statement obtained by the network.
