U.S. authorities on April 23 opted to lift the recommended pause on the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine with no restrictions.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) made the move hours after the former’s vaccine advisory committee voted at an emergency meeting to advise the agency to stop recommending a pause.
