Rebecca McBrain, the mother of Paul Walker’s child and ex, is reportedly supporting Walker’s girlfriend after the actor’s death.

According to Hollywood Life, the Nov. 30 death of Walker brought together his girlfriend, Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell--and McBrain, the mother of his child, Meadow Walker. The report said the two are supporting one another while they mourn the late “Fast & Furious” actor.

“Rebecca has been in touch with Jasmine,” a source was quoted as saying, adding that Pilchard-Gosnell was close to Meadow Walker. “She is keen to make sure she’s doing okay if only for Meadow’s sake,” added the source.

Walker died in a fiery car crash in Santa Monica, and a funeral was held for him last month.

“Even though Paul and Rebecca were only together for a short time, they shared a special bond because of Meadow — and she knows what a special guy Paul is,” the source explained.

Last month, a source told OK! magazine last month that Walker was planning on marrying Pilchard-Gosnell.

“There’s no doubt Paul was planning on marrying her when she was ready,” the OK! source said. “He knew she was young and had her own things she wanted to achieve, but he always said she was worth the wait.”

This week, “Fast & Furious 7” actor Kurt Russell said that the movie’s production will resume in March. The “Escape from New York” star was cast to play a father figure to Vin Diesel’s character in the latest installment of the franchise, which will be released in April 2015.

“At the time, we were talking about (my character) possibly going into a future episode as a sort of father figure to Vin and Paul’s character (sic) - or possibly die in Fast & Furious 7. The character was created to go either way, and it will be interesting to see what they do now, if there’s any change in that. I don’t know if there will be. But obviously, they’re working hard on doing what they have to do to try to make that thing work,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

He added: “I think they’re going to gear up again in February or March, so we'll see.”

Russell described Walker as a “terrific guy.”

“I just met him on the (movie set) and I was just very struck by how similar our lives are and how we looked at life. All the things he did outside of acting that he really enjoyed were similar to the things that I like to do. He was a hell of a good guy,” he said.
