NEW YORK—The FDNY is on the scene of a partial building collapse believed to be from an explosion in the Bronx this morning at 2601 Westchester Ave.
At 7:47 a.m. a call came in to 911 and by 7:53 a.m., 33 units responded, according to an FDNY spokesperson.
Two civilians were sent to nearby Jacobi Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Photos on the FDNY Twitter page show dozens of firefighters on scene and part of the one-story building leveled.
