Police in Paris are in a stand-off with a hostage taker on Friday.
The hostage taker has taken hostages at a bank on Avenue Des Gobelins, reported France24.
The bank is a CIC branch.
The hostage taker has released three of the hostages that he or she took, while SWAT teams continue negotiating with him or her, but are also preparing to raid the bank, reported Stefan de Vries.
The man is demanding that the state provide him and his son with subsidized housing.
