Palompon City, located in Leyte province of the Philippines, was severely damaged during Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).
The city of Ormoc posted a video o Facebook, showing the destruction that was done.
The video appears to have been shot via a helicopter, giving an aerial view.
Debris and rubble is strewn everywhere in the city, according to the footage.
As of Sunday, six people were reported dead in Palompon, according to Rappler.
“We had ample time to prepare given all the information on TV, on the radio about the storm,” Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez said. “What we were not prepared for was the intensity of the typhoon. Unlike in Tacloban, it was not water but the wind that damaged properties.”
Gomez said the six people who died in Palompon refused to leave their homes.
