K.H. Butt scored 89 and N. Amar scored 87 in an opening partnership of 168, when Amar was caught by N.A. Patwari off the bowling of G. Mohammad. Batting at number three S. Sikhmade made 28 before being stumped by T. Fuqan off the bowling of S. Mahmood. Butt stayed at the crease until the total was 237, when he was bowled by W. Khan. I. Ahmed then took up the run-making scoring 62 before being caught off the bowling of S Mahmood.

S. Mahmood took two wickets for 49 runs off his 10 overs.

Pakistan Association AMSUA won the match by dismissing LSW Knights for 103 in 29 overs.

HKCC Scorpions against SLCC

Headwin SLCC won the toss and batting first were dismissed for 106 off 31.1 overs. HKCC Scorpions had to apply themselves against some accurate bowling, but made 109 for seven wickets in 38.3 overs. Scorpions won the game by three wickets.

League Standings

This win takes Pakistan Association AMSUA into second place (on 25-points) and four points behind League Leaders KCC Templars (29), who have played one more game than Pakistan Association’s five. Meanwhile, LSW JKN (23) hold third place from the six games that they have played, USRC/Millenium and HKCC Scorpions are equal fourth (20) having played eight.

Pakistan Association AMSUA play HKCC Scorpions at HKCC; KCC Templars play LSW JKN at KCC; and LSW Knights play HKCC Wanderers at Mission Road. All matches are scheduled for Jan 27.
