The Green Bay Packers improved to 11-0 with a 27-15 victory at Detroit (7-4)on Thursday. The win was the 17 straight overall for the defending Super Bowl Champs and the first 11-0 start in their franchise history.
The game was blown open when Lions star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was ejected in the third quarter for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Just two plays after the disqualification, Green Bay scored to go up 14-0. They would tack on 10 more points before the end of the quarter to put the game out of reach.
Aaron Rodgers threw for 307 yards and two touchdowns. He has gone 11 straight games with 2 or more touchdown passes, the third longest streak to start a season behind Payton Manning (13) and Johnny Unitas (12).
Matt Stafford led the Lions with 276 passing yards but was picked off three times.
