A big rig truck crashed into a Carmax car dealership in Oxnard, California, on Saturday, sparking a fire that torched several cars.

The accident took place near the 101 Freeway south of Rose Avenue, ABC reported.

The truck was hauling Bounty paper products when it hit the dealership on Lockwood Street, officials told CBS Los Angeles.

The ensuing fire burned between 12 and 16 vehicles.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire quickly.

The driver of the truck was taken to the Ventura County Medical Center.
