Microsoft’s Outlook.com email service is having issues, with many taking to Twitter to express their frustration.
According to a report from CNET.com, the issues started at 9:34 p.m. PDT on Tuesday.
Microsoft said on its service status page: “We are aware that users of the following mail clients are experiencing issues syncing and sending email. We are working on the issue and expect resolution in the next 24 hours. — Windows Live Mail — Outlook Connector — MSN Premium client — Windows Phone 8.1 — Windows 8 Mail Client.”
Microsoft indicated in following updates that it’s still trying to figure out the problem.
On Wednesday morning, the firm said, “Fixing the problem is taking longer than we hoped. We’ll provide an update by April 08 4:00 AM. We apologize for the lengthy interruption in service.”
But on Twitter, as of about 7 a.m. PDT, many users indicated they’re still having problems with Outlook and other Windows services.
