Police in Washington County, Oregon, busted what is being described as a major marijuana growing operation that was spread over 14 homes.

The operation, run by organized crime, was netting an estimated $100,000 a month, reported Emily Sinovic of KATU.

Police officers searching through the houses were finding tons of marijuana, including in grocery bags in a living room, and branches hanging in closets.

Police were working on the case since December 2012, reported Sinovic. The operation had 32 people involved and were shipping the marijuana out of state.
