The Orange County fair will return this summer, an official said March 25.
“It’s been a tough year for everyone, but our team has spent the last year developing health and safety procedures in line with CDC guidelines so that when you come to the OC fair or any event at the OC Fair and Events Center, you can rest assured that event will be as healthy and safe as possible,” the facility’s chief executive Michele Richards said in a video announcing the news.
“We think it’s time for fun, how about you?”
The event will run July 16 to Aug. 15, with restrictions, including mandatory face masks and limited attendance.
Its return comes after last year’s cancellation due to COVID-19 concerns.
Tickets go on sale May 1.
