Since Congress enacted the Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) in 2010, the number of Americans without health insurance has declined by approximately 20.4 million persons. Making affordable health insurance more available, expanding Medicaid, and supporting lower-cost medical care delivery methods, is understandably favored by a majority of Americans.
