The federal Labor government’s proposal to enshrine an “Indigenous Voice to Parliament” in the Constitution is the wrong way to recognise Aboriginal people or help those in need.

He has also served on the Productivity Commission and from 2017-2022 was head of the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Queensland and has authored several books and papers.
