Commentary
One of the planks in the “compact” that the Trump administration has proposed to several colleges has to do with a problem that hasn’t received much attention in recent times, at least not in government circles. It addresses a problem that doesn’t appear to have any political valence, no right or left orientation. The problem is grade inflation in higher education.
