Once Upon a Time season 4 will premiere in just a couple weeks and fans are wondering about the latest spoilers that have come out.
Most are well aware that the upcoming season will feature the inclusion of the Frozen universe, including Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff.
Now a new tidbit has come out about the fan favorite Hook, who has been increasingly closer to Emma.
Adam Horowitz, the series’ co-creator, told TVLine that ““There is more delving into his past to come.”
The burning question of whom he traded the Jolly Roger to, in the name of finding Emma, won’t be revealed until “somewhere down the road,” he added.
Also, there’s been a big new casting--Frances O'Conner will play Belle’s mother Colette, whom fans will meet in the sixth episode of the season briefly with a chance of seeing her again down the road.
Belle’s mother will appear in flashbacks from before Belle met Rumplestiltskin.
O'Conner has appeared on shows including Mansfield Park, Bedazzled, and Mr. Selfride.
Another casting reported by TVLine, “of a pompous prince who beneath his veneer of confidence-slash-arrogance is not much more than a coward ill-equipped to handle conflict” has prompted rumors that The Princess and the Frog may be introduced this season in Once.
“It’s possible that this character could simply be one of Prince Hans’ 12 brothers from Frozen, but Prince Naveen also fits this description. Most Disney princes are dashing heroes who can do no wrong (Prince Charming, Prince Phillip, etc.). However, Naveen acts like a selfish jerk when he’s first introduced in The Princess and the Frog,” reported the Inquisitr.
“There’s another new Once Upon a Time character whose name might be a nod to The Princess and the Frog. During episode 5, Once will introduce a recurring character named Lily. She’s a teen with a ‘charming, take-no-prisoners punk exterior and the heart of a secretive, insecure opportunist.’ Perhaps her name is a reference to the lily pads that are often associated with frogs (it’s a bit of a stretch, but you never know with this crazy show). She could be Prince Naveen and Princess Tiana’s daughter — or she could be the Once Upon a Time version of Peter Pan character Tiger Lily.”
Once Upon a Time season 4 will premiere on Sunday, September 28.
