A pipeline in Oklahoma exploded and caught on fire in Harper County on Tuesday night, sending a bright fireball into the sky, it was reported. The blast was reported near Laverne by Rosston.

Harper County Sheriff’s Office tells KAKE News that there were no reported injuries in the blast.

Emergency service workers set up a staging area along Highway 283, which goes to Dodge City.

People from as far as Kansas reported seeing the fire.

Weather tracker John Welter wrote that the explosion was spotted on Dodge City, Kansas, radar.
