Who’s NBA’s leading scorer? Kevin Durant. And how many points did he score yesterday? 39 points. Oh, no big deal.

Oklahoma City Thunder played the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night, and the Thunder won in overtime, 115–114. As ESPN notes, Durant scored 8 out of the 9 points in overtime to beat the Warriors. Serge Ibaka got in 19 points, Russell Westbrook added 15 points, and ex-Celtic Kendrick Perkins snatched 13 rebounds.

It’s not that the Warriors didn’t fight hard. Stephen Curry had an impressive 35 points, David Lee, 24 points, and Monta Ellis had 20 points.

As ESPN reports, the Thunder missed seven consecutive shots in the final minutes, putting the Warriors ahead 109–114.

Then Durant nabbed a three-shot foul, getting all three points, then hit a jumper to tie the game. Westbrook then drew a foul and made one of the two free throws, upping the Thunder’s tally to 115 to win the game.
