The body of a woman was found inside of a submerged car in St. Clair Shores, authorities said on Wednesday.

Police and fire rescue crews found the vehicle in the water behind Shore Club Drive at around 3 p.m. local time, The Detroit News reported.

The “sunken car” was found resting between the sea wall and a boat well, officials said.

According to FOX2, it’s unclear how long the car has been there, but officials believe it has been there for days. It is being investigated as a possible suicide.
