Obama’s tattoo plan: President Barack Obama recently said that he came up with a plan to prevent his two daughters from getting tattoos, should the issue ever arise.
“What we’ve said to the girls is that ‘If you guys ever decide to get a tattoo, then Mommy and me will get the exact same tattoo, in the same place, and we’ll go on YouTube and show it off as a family tattoo,’” Obama said on NBC’s “Today” on Wednesday.
“And our thinking is that might dissuade them from thinking that somehow that’s a good way to rebel,” he added.
The president also discussed First Lady Michelle Obama’s comments where she described herself as a single mother.
“You know, as somebody who has stumbled over my lines many times, I tend to cut my wife or anybody some slack when it comes to just a slip to the tongue,” Obama. “But there’s no doubt that there’ve been times where Michelle probably felt like a single mom.”
Recently, Michelle told ABC News that parenting and not the job of being the president is turning her husband’s hair gray.
“Fathers in particular, I don’t think they really know how they’re going to feel until it happens. There’s nothing like the look on his face when Malia dresses up for a party, and is heading out. She walks past him and you can see his face just drop a little bit,” she said. “He’s like ‘who was that?!'” she said.
