The Oakland A’s have clinched a berth in baseball’s postseason as the New York Yankees defeated the Tampa Bay Rays on Sept. 25.

It’s the first playoff berth for the A’s since 2014.

The A’s are ensured a spot in the American League Wild Card Game next week on Oct. 1.

The Yankees are leading the A’s by two games for the top spot in the league’s Wild Card race and so are currently in line to host the one-game playoff.

The A’s played the Seattle Mariners on Sept. 24 and narrowed their deficit.

Playoff tickets go on sale starting on Sept. 28, with a presale planned for Thursday for A’s Access members.

Any possible home playoff games for Oakland—if they end up with a better record than New York and host the wild card playoff or, if the A’s advance past the Yankees and play in the American League Division Series—will go on sale at 9 a.m. Sept. 28.
