A construction worker has fallen from scaffolding near New York University in Greenwich Village, according to reports on Friday.
The worker, who was taken to the hospital, was described as being in critical condition, reported NBC New York.
NBC said that Greene Street was closed between Eighth Street and Waverly Place.
