This week, the New York City Department of Transportation announced they will have two new outlets so users stay connected to DOT information.
There is a twitter account that gives updates of alternate side parking (ASP) throughout the city. Updates about ASP will be given out daily and alerts will be sent out when parking is suspended during holidays and due to weather conditions.
The DOT also said they will now distribute news releases, project highlights, and events via the two social networking sites.
