NYC: Ken Thompson Declares Victory Over Incumbent Charles Hynes

Ken Thompson has declared victory over incumbent Charles Hynes after early returns show a blowout victory.

Hynes had already lost in the primaries but decided to run as a Republican. 

He conceded to Thompson late Tuesday night.

They were vying for Brooklyn district attorney. Hynes has been in office for 23 years.

Thompson is a former federal prosecutor.
