A tornado has killed at least two people in North Cotabato Province in the Philippines on Friday. Bing Guiamalon Ocuman from in Pikit and her child Datu Puti died, say reports.
The Inquirer reported that the woman and her son were killed in Pikit.
Ocuman’s daughter was hospitalized.
The tornado snapped a coconut tree which then fell on the woman’s hut.
“Five houses standing on the path of the tornado were destroyed,” said Tahira Kalantungan, a local official, according to the Philippine Star.
