Fans of Nintendo gaming consoles will have the opportunity to purchase the first transparent version of the Nintendo 2DS gaming console starting next week. The new Nintendo product measures 144 x 127 x 20.3 mm and weighs 260 grams. It will be available in Crystal Red and Crystal Blue colors.
The Nintendo 2DS offers two LCD displays. The first one measures 3.53 inches (400 x 240 pixel resolution), while the second one is a 3.02-inch display at 320 x 240 pixels. The device also has 2 GB of internal memory (1.5 GB usable), a microSD card slot (a 4 GB card is included in the package), a front VGA camera, two rear 0.3 MP cameras, a Wi-Fi module, a 3.5-mm audio jack and a built-in speaker.
The battery inside the device should be able to power it for up to 3.5-5 hours. The gaming console is compatible with all Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS games that can be run in 2D mode. In addition gamers will be able to purchase games on the online Nintendo eShop store.
In the USA the new transparent gaming console will appear on November 21, 2014. The device will cost USD 100.
