Nikki Ferrell, who won last season of the Bachelor, took to Twitter to lash out at ABC producers for what happened during the live After the Final Rose special on Monday night.
The special, which aired after the pre-taped Bachelorette finale, featured Nick Viall complaining about Andi Dorfman eliminating him.
At one point, when Nick finally got to confront Andi in person with host Chris Harrison guiding the discussion, Nick revealed that he and Andi had slept together during the show.
Nick cited that situation as one of a number of factors that led him to believe that he would win this season of the Bachelorette, leaving him devastated when Andi rejected him.
Andi was clearly upset with Nick, and the reveal was one of the most-talked about moments of the three-hour Bachelorette programming on Monday.
Ferrell, who has remained close friends with Andi despite differing opinions on Juan Pablo, took to Twitter to address what happened.
“Gee I wonder who told Nick to say that,” she said.
“How the producers of @BachelorABC sleep at night is beyond me. #trash”
Ferrell did add: “But on a positive note so beyond happy for @AndiDorfman and @jmurbulldog I bet it feels so good to be free! #congrats.”
