Nigeria and Greece battled in a FIFA friendly on Tuesday, but neither side could put the ball in the net.

The final score was 0-0.

The game was played at the Philadelphia Union Stadium in Pennsylvania.

Soccer Laduma reports that “The Super Eagles made all of the running in the opening exchanges as the Greek side opted to play deep and keep a compact shape, trying to cut down any space.”

Both sides had fairly good shots on goal, but missed the target. That included a shot from Odemwinigie in the 14th minute and Onazi in the final five minutes.

“The game was more or less balanced in the first half before the Super Eagles took matters on their hands in the second half but failed to score against a very resilient Greece team,” added Star Africa.
