Host Nick Cannon showed up at a New York Knicks game on April 2 to tape a comedy segment for America’s Got Talent. The “mecca of basketball” did not seem enthused.
Seemingly all of the 19,812 in attendance at Madison Square Garden booed as Cannon attempted a fake full-court trick shot.
He even tried to support the crowd in an effort to get his job done: “I know, I know, I know. Get it out now! Boo. Keep going. Louder! Boo! Okay, here we go, now that ya'll got that out of your system, here we go.”
MSG continued to jeer.
It remains to be seen if the promo will be used, or how talented the audio crew is at editing in post.
