NEW YORK—A 110-foot-tall sky coaster debuted at Coney Island in May. Now a 60-foot high, 400-foot-long zip line will have riders looking down on Stillwell Ave., according to Coney Island blogger “Amusing the Zillion.”

Four stationary lines are slated to open July 21. The lines will start “just beyond the new MegaWhirl ride in Cha Cha’s Steeplechase Park on the east side of Stillwell,” and end behind Nathan’s Famous!

“I’m a skydiver who has taught people how to skydive without jumping out of airplanes,” Patrick Ingram, owner of Michigan-based Category 5 Productions, told Amusing the Zillion. “I started with wind tunnels twelve years ago. It evolved into zip lines over the past three years.”

The 25-second ride will cost $20 on weekdays and $25 on weekends.

The blog also notes an ad on Craigslist, a online community bulletin board of sorts, a listing for 8 to 10 crew members, male and female, who can work from July 1 through Sept. 15. Shifts are Tuesday through Sunday with full-time hours, and crew should be able “to stand up for long periods of time,” while “previous zipline experience [is] helpful, but not required.”
