A brush fire erupted near Newhall Pass in Southern California on Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol wrote that the Santa Clarita fire is at “I-5 at 14 freeway in Newhall Pass affecting The Old Road & Sierra Highway. Avoid the area.”
NBC reported that the fire is snarling traffic.
Santa Clarita fire officials say the fire is now between two and three acres.
It appears that firefighters were on the scene battling the fire, ABC reported.
