NEW YORK (AP) — New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo calls Donald Trump’s crude remarks about women “disgusting on a human level.”

The Democratic governor says it’s about values, not politics, about what’s decent and indecent.

The GOP presidential nominee made sexually charged comments toward women in 2005 that were caught on tape and released Friday.

Cuomo says Trump’s behavior should be condemned by everyone. He was interviewed by phone on NY1 Saturday.

He says he applauds those Republicans who put their values ahead of their party loyalty by withdrawing their support of the presidential candidate.

Democratic Mayor Bill De Blasio in a statement said people must not forget Trump’s “hate and misogyny.”

Trump insisted he would not drop out of the race as some in his own party have said he should.
