A New York City woman plunged to her death after reportedly arguing with her boyfriend on Saturday night.

Yanina Boitel, 33, was found unresponsive and unconscious at 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 19 in East Harlem, Manhattan. Paramedics took her to Metropolitan Hospital Center, where she was later pronounced dead, The New York Daily News reported.

No one has been charged in her death.

It’s unclear if she jumped, fell, or was pushed from the roof of the building, Fox News reported, citing investigators.

Her boyfriend told officials that they went out drinking Saturday night they weren’t together in the building after they got home. A man found her on the ground.

Her sister, Carmen Reyes, told Fox that they heard arguing.

“We heard that they were arguing,” Reyes said. “They were both on the roof. We don’t know all the details of it.”

Boitel left behind three children, ages 16, 12, and 10. Her first grandchild was born six months ago.

“Nina has been someone who has loved life, who has lived life to the fullest,” Reyes said. “Our biggest concern right now is taking care of the children and the baby.”

Her brother, Jose Torres, told Pix11 that he was told his sister killed herself.

“He came to get me, to tell me my sister jumped off the roof,” Torres said. “I rushed over here to see what was going on, and then I saw the whole neighborhood out here, because she was loved by everybody.”

But other family members told Pix11 that they knew about alleged domestic violence between Boitel and her boyfriend, who is 21.
