NEW YORK—On the morning after his landslide victory, Mayor-Elect Bill de Blasio wasted no time in getting to work.

De Blasio met with current Mayor Michael Bloomberg at City Hall to discuss the transition.

The mayor-elect was greeted by a gaggle of press on his walk up the City Hall steps.

“All of this—It’s incredible,” de Blasio muttered, according to a tweet sent out by Daily News reporter Erin Durkin.

The pair met on the stage of the bullpen in the bowels of City Hall for roughly 45 minutes.

The press was brought in in groups to take photos but neither took questions. The duo were deep in conversation, but much of their conversation was inaudible.
