A shooting in New Orleans at a Mother’s Day parade and second-line left at least 12 people injured, it was reported.
FOX 8 television reported that the shooting took place on the intersection between Frenchmen and North Villere Streets.
The shooting took place at around 2 p.m., according to preliminary figures. A 10-year-old girl allegedly was shot, suffering a graze wound, according to NOLA.com.

Police Superintendent Ronald Serpas said there were around 300 to 400 people in the area of the parade where the shooting occurred.
He said that there were three suspects in the shooting, adding they likely worked together. One of them was described as a man who is between the age of 18 and 22 years old. He had one a white shirt and blue jeans, Serpas said.
Emergency workers took nine people to the hospital, with eight suffering from gunshot wounds, reported WWL-TV. Three of those victims were in critical condition.
There were around 10 police officers trying to control the parade after the incident.
And there were reportedly two separate guns involved, according to the station.
