Keelen Armstrong, 24, has been arrested on Wednesday in connection with the fatal shooting of toddler Londyn Samuels.
New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Ronal Serpas said that Armstrong was arrested during a traffic stop, after he was going 80 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour speed zone, reported WSDU.
Londyn Samuels, 1, was fatally shot last week on South Saratoga Street last week.
Armstrong was arrested on charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
