A number of new names are being suggested by sports fans after Sports Illustrated confirmed it has laid off its remaining six photographers.
The magazine indicated that it would rely on freelancers now.
Twitter users used their creativity to suggest new names for the magazine based on it not being as “illustrated” as before thanks to the cuts.
Sports Prose, and Sports have been among the suggestions.

“The main reason I pick your magazine at the doctors office to read is for the photos. What are you going to do without photographers?” said one.
However, others said that people wouldn’t notice the difference.
“There will still be the same number of photos, just by freelancers and wire services. People won’t be able to tell the difference,” said one user.
