A 78-year-old woman and a 92-year-old man have died from West Nile Virus recently, New Jersey officials reported on September 3.
The woman, from Gloucester County, developed a fever and blurred vision, among other symptoms, reported CBS. She later died in the hospital, on August 24.
The man, of Morris County, was also admitted to the hospital, after developing a fever and muscle weakness, as well as swelling of the brain. He died on August 31.
Six other New Jersey residents have tested positive for the virus.
