The new ipad mini release date in 2013 is around the corner, coming in late November.

Although Apple hasn’t officially announced a date, an analysis by IBTimes points to the date being November 22, a Friday.

Reasons supporting that theory include Apple shutting down through Thanksgiving weekend, and Hanukkah and Thanksgiving being during the same week.

Apple will want to release the new iPad before the holiday weekend, because lots of people go shopping on that weekend (including on Black Friday).

Another release date mentioned is November 21, which Target had attached to a listing for the iPad online.

Apple’s website merely says that the iPad is “coming later in November.”

The iPad mini with Retina display starts at $399 with 16 GB. $499 is 32 GB; $599 is 64 GB; and $699 is 128 GB.
