Soon after Oregon extended California’s amber alert for two kidnapped children and suspected kidnapper James Lee DiMaggio, California police are asking Nevada to activate a statewide amber alert.

The California Highway Patrol believes that DiMaggio is heading to or is already in Canada, Oregon, or Texas. It’s unlikely that he’s made it as far as Texas, so the Nevada alert indicates he may be somewhere in the state, which is between California and Texas.

DiMaggio allegedly killed Christina Anderseon and then kidnapped her daughter, Hannah, and possibly her son, Ethan.

DiMaggio Was last seen driving a blue Nissan Versa 4-door, with a ca license plate of 6WCU986. He may have changed vehicles.

Anyone with information regarding the situation should call 911 or Oregon police at 1-866-5AMBER5.
