Anthony Davis

Davis made a huge leap between his rookie and sophomore seasons, but at just 21 years of age, the growth is far from over.

Davis nearly triple-doubled on opening night versus the Orlando Magic, tallying 26 points, 17 rebounds, and 9 blocks, and topping it off with an ultra-efficient 0 turnovers. The Pelicans beat the Magic 101-84.

In addition to the Pelicans making the playoffs, some fans are speculating that we could be seeing the makings of the first player to ever win the MVP and DPOY awards in the the same season.

Spurs Get Rings, Win

Shortly after receiving their championship rings celebrating their brilliant season last year, the Spurs started the new season on a good note with a 101-100 over the Dallas Mavericks.

Lakers vs Rockets; Kobe Versus Dwight;

Here they go again. The two were known to have had conflicts while playing on the same team, and it looks like its more of the same no matter what jerseys they’re wearing.

On another note, perhaps flying under the radar, Lakers rookie Julius Randle suffered a nasty injury leg yesterday. The promising young talent is expected undergo surgery and miss 4-6 months.
