Below is an edited transcript containing the main highlights of Jay Harris’s discussion with Bruce Bowen.

On Chris Bosh

Harris: What did you see from Bosh in Game 2?

Bowen: What I see is him turning back the hand of time as far as his attacking the rim. We saw Chris Bosh have two monstrous dunks. I mean, I’m saying to myself, “Oh Chris, turn back the hands of time why don’t you.” But even though you see that from him, he’s still well aware of what he needs to do for his club.

....

We’ve always talked about Dwyane Wade or Lebron James, but I think the guy who is truly the anchor of this team as far as all the things go: it is Chris Bosh and what he does for them.

On Adjustments

Harris: What do you expect from Miami tonight in Game 3?

Bowen: I expect for them to really take advantage of the opportunity they have now. It makes no sense for them to come out here and have a flat game. I think they will be on all p’s and q’s as far as defensive situations, recognizing in transition, communicating; getting back on defense is so key for them when you’re talking about a player like Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs. You don’t want to give them opportunities because of what has transpired in the past. They know that the Spurs are going to come out aggressive; they need to shore up the defensive effort in the paint. We saw the Spurs live in the paint in the first quarter and they made the adjustments late, but you got to be aware early on in the game to set the tone — especially being at home.

On Lebron James

Harris: What are you expecting from him(Lebron James) tonight in Game 3?

Bowen: Even more of a solid play. I think he’s going to try to get everyone involved early on in this game and not so much worry about trying to take over the game early on in the game. So you have a player that’s going to try to make sure that a player like Mario Chalmers can start off on a good note. But, his still going to be aggressive, because he understands even more so now that they cannot stop him when he’s driving to the basket. He knows the Spurs are going to make adjustments and it'll be key for Lebron James to keep that same method of operation as far as him attacking the basket, being aggressive.
