NASA Awards Information Technology, Multimedia Services Contract

NASA has exercised the second option of its Information Technology and Multimedia Services (ITAMS) contract with DB Consulting Group, Inc., Silver Spring, Maryland, to provide information technology, multimedia, information management and external relations support services at the agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

NASA has exercised the second option of its Information Technology and Multimedia Services (ITAMS) contract with DB Consulting Group, Inc., Silver Spring, Maryland, to provide information technology, multimedia, information management and external relations support services at the agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Exercising this contract option brings the five-year total to $251.95 million. The first option ends Jan. 17, 2015. It is a cost-plus-incentive, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. This option is valued at $50.5 million and extends from Jan. 18, 2015 through Jan. 17, 2016.

The contracted services include operation and maintenance of primary information technology services. Additional support includes application development, graphics, cataloguing and television systems support for human spaceflight missions and for institutional needs.

The contract also supports public affairs services including creative content for NASA Television, live mission television, multimedia and the public Internet and education program support.
