A panel of 24 experts have been tasked with coming up with a report of suggestions for bringing the Metropolitan Transportation Authority into the next century before the MTA submits its capital plan this fall.

At the recommendation of Governor Andrew Cuomo, the MTA Transportation Reinvention Commission (TRC) was created to address climate change, demographic changes, technology, energy efficiency, and political barriers. 

From July 15-17, TRC will hear public comments. Speakers should register before the meeting.

Schedule:

July 15, Tuesday: Presentations will run from 1-4 p.m., and general public input will run from 5:30-8 p.m.

July 16, Wednesday: Presentations will run from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., and general public input will run from 5:30-8 p.m.

July 17, Thursday: Presentations will run from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., and general public input will run from 12-1 p.m.
