HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—A 22-year-old motorist in a speeding vehicle was killed and his two passengers were injured in a single-vehicle crash March 26 in Huntington Beach, authorities said.

The condition of the two injured people was not immediately known, according to spokeswoman Jessica Cuchilla of the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The crash, involving a gray 2014 Ford Focus, occurred around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on southbound Main Street, north of 13th Street, Cuchilla said. The driver, a resident of Huntington Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed his two passengers to a hospital, she said.
